I wrote some version of this song for me to sing. I tried it out at new material night and it didn't work for me. The AI version on the original album has a bit of chaos energy to it, which sort of ruins the song. In this cover version, I only loosely follow the Monkey Paw Cowboy original, and sort of riffed a version of the song which fits, which is then regenerated into a nice shiny new thing.

I tried a version of this at a new material night and it didn't land for me. When I wrote The Incredible Jukebox album Monkey Paw Cowboy, I used the raw material from this to make a new song. I also had to record a version of it for the purposes of Monkey Paw Cowboy regenerated, in which I essentially reimagined the music... so this is me adopting it back into an Ashley song, which I plan to do live.
